Call for Submissions for 2017 Christmas Art Show

We cheerfully invite you to submit works for La Fab Members’ Christmas Art Show to be held from December 1, 2017 to January 7, 2018.
Small format artworks and quality Christmas decorations are encouraged.
 We are committed to ensuring that this annual exhibition will once again be successful and worthwhile for artists, shoppers, and La Fab. The Gallery Committee reserves the right to make final selections and installation decisions. Note: La Fab will retain a 40% commission on sales.

Please send photos (minimum of 1024 pixels) of your artwork(s) with the title, size and medium by November 15 to indicating 'Christmas Show' in the subject line. You can submit several pieces. The number of artworks accepted will depend on their format.

If you are not a member of La Fab, but want to participate in the exhibition, we invite you to fill out a membership form that you will find on our website at:

To make this event a success, we need your support. All exhibiting artists will be required to contribute one or two days of volunteer work in the boutique during the show (see opening hours). The number of days required will depend on the number of participants. Two training sessions will be offered for those who have no experience tending the boutique or who need an update.

 Dates to remember:

  • Tuesday, November 28, between 2 pm and 6 pm - artwork drop-off of at La Fab
  • Friday December 1st, from 5 pm to 8 pm - vernissage
  • Sunday, January 7th, 2017 - artwork to be picked up after 5 pm
When submitting your works, please include the following: completed and signed Consignment Agreement; appropriate identification and hardware for wall-mounted work; display racks, etc. for table top items.

In keeping with tradition, we invite you to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to be served on the evening of the vernissage.
